Hey, I’m Kristie.

Kristie Meluso is an event planner with an extensive background in both hospitality and the culinary arts. After graduating from Boston University with a degree in hospitality, she went on to receive a culinary degree from the prestigious French Culinary Institute. Kristie further honed her expertise doing stages with award-winning chefs, including Jean Georges. 

Kristie soon transitioned into event planning for the Special Events and Partnerships Department at Condè Nast and Gourmet Magazine. She spent the next eight years producing specialized events at premiere venues in New York City and around the world. Kristie directed private client and corporate events at Queen of the Night at The Diamond Horseshoe, Marc Forgione’s American Cut, Barchetta, Lugo, No.8, Provocateur Nightclub & Cafe, Gansevoort Park Avenue, and Winston’s Champagne Bar. She also created unique large scale pop up parties in New York, Miami, Cannes, and Ibiza, as well as specialized VIP experiences for Swedish House Mafia at Madison Square Garden, Sensation White at The Barclay's Center, Electric Zoo, and Ultra Music Festival. 

In 2015, Kristie decided to launch KMEvents with the objective to marry her love of fashion, food, and design, to create unique and unforgettable experiences for her clients. Kristie’s diverse expertise includes weddings, bar mitzvahs, birthday parties, charities, brand activations, as well as corporate events, music, beauty, and fashion productions. Whether corporate or private events, large-scale or small, Kristie approaches each opportunity with creativity, vision, and flawless execution.
